Steam Plant Event Space

Nowhere else in the region - and rare in the U.S. - is there a facility that so artfully exposes the inner workings of an industrial plant while providing an experience that is truly unmatched in its vitality and energy. The result of a remarkable vision to repurpose one of the city's most recognizable landmarks, the Steam Plant was the first historic building in Spokane to receive the prestigious National Preservation Honor Award. On March 2, 2018 the ribbon was cut on new renovation that honored those efforts while revealing even more of the building's soul.

On the third level of the Seehorn building right off Lincoln street, the Rooftop can accommodate up to 150 people, includes a bridal suite and a patio, and offers a breathtaking view of the plant's smokestacks and the Spokane skyline.

A private dining room that comfortably accommodates parties up to 16, the Board Room was once an actual boiler.  In fact, the original pipes still line the walls and ceiling.  Cozy and private, it's the perfect setting for a meeting, party, or family event.

Slightly larger than the Board Room, the Boiler was also - you guessed it - one of the Steam Plant's boilers.  It's a unique space that seats up to 24 guests.

The Commons is a private yet airy space that can accommodate seated meals for up to 50 and hors d’oeuvre parties for up to 80. It features one of the Steam Plant's original instrument panels, an entrance into the base of one of the smokestacks, and a waterfall created out of original piping.

Located on the lower level, the Cellar will take you back in time to the days the Steam Plant was operational. The Cellar is the perfect space to host a unique and memorable event for you and your guests that can accommodate seated meals for up to 24 and hors d’oeuvre parties for up to 30.
